Martin Rees

Martin John Rees, Baron Rees of Ludlow, OM, FRS, HonFREng, FMedSci, FRAS, HonFInstP, is a prominent British cosmologist and astrophysicist. Born on 23 June 1942, Rees has made significant contributions to science as the Astronomer Royal since 1995 and served as the President of the Royal Society from 2005 to 2010.
